The few months after I had my first child, I noticed the weight was melting off. Daily. It was a combination of being too busy to eat much and breastfeeding. Breastfeeding alone can burn around 300 calories a day.
Even though it's been a few years since my youngest was born, I have tried to keep up pumping every now and then. My theory is that if there is even a few drops then I still have the capability. The fact that I don't pump often nor do I drink much water means I literally just get drops out. But I'm working on upping this production. The more you pump, the more you make.
So, more water, more milk, less me... That's the theory!
